1. Whistleblowers (Revealing Disgrace)

Whistleblowers or disgraceful whistleblowers are terms for employees, former employees or workers, members of an institution or organization who report an action deemed to have violated provisions to the authorities. In general, any action that violates the provisions means violating the law, rules and requirements that pose a threat to the public or the public interest. This includes corruption, violations of work safety, and many more.

2. Leaks

Leakage occurs when confidential information within an intelligence agency is disclosed to the public without authorization and sometimes without knowing who leaked it.

3. Deep Throats

The term when a politician tells journalists "Off The Record", means that the politician does not want this conversation to be reported. Most of this is because politicians do things that are secret and don't want the public to know. Things like this often happen, when there is a scandal involving the politician.

4. Spins

Sometimes information is reported in a certain way (Spin) with the aim that the public or society reacts or responds to the news according to the intent and purpose of the newsreader. This method is called Spin. The term Spin is taken from the term in the game of baseball where the way of throwing Spin by a pitcher manipulates the rotation of the ball in the air to trick or deceive the ball hitter. This method is also used in soccer games (Banana Kick).

5. Moles (Intruders)

The term intruder in Spy is defined for a spy who uses his own way to infiltrate secret agents in other countries to steal secrets.

6. Double Agent

Double Agent or double agent is a term where a spy who works as a secret agent in a country but in fact is a secret agent of the enemy.

7. Sleepers

The term Sleepers refers more to a situation where a secret agent enters a country and lives there and mingle like ordinary citizens. At first they will not do things related to secret agents, they are looking for work that will later be related and useful for their purposes. When the time is right (usually a few years later) they will just start carrying out their aggressions as secret agents.

8. Undercover

An undercover (usually a police or intelligence agent) performs his actions by joining a gang of criminal gangsters or a particular community to be spied on. They usually get new identities, complete with KTP/identity cards and fake documents as well as fake living backgrounds. To carry out the action, sometimes an undercover must participate in criminal acts (to convince the Boss Gangster).

Whistleblowers (Pengungkap Aib)

Whistleblowers atau pengungkap aib adalah istilah bagi karyawan, mantan karyawan atau pekerja, anggota dari suatu institusi atau organisasi yang melaporkan suatu tindakan yang dianggap melanggar ketentuan kepada pihak yang berwenang. Secara umum segala tindakan yang melanggar ketentuan berarti melanggar hukum, aturan dan persyaratan yang menjadi ancaman pihak publik atau kepentingan publik. Termasuk di dalamnya korupsi, pelanggaran atas keselamatan kerja, dan masih banyak lagi.

Leaks (Pembocoran)

Pembocoran terjadi dimana informasi rahasia dalam suatu badan intelijen diungkapkan kepada masyarakat tanpa adanya otorisasi dan terkadang tanpa diketahui siapa yang membocorkannya.

Deep Throat

Istilah dimana saat seorang politikus memberitahukan kepada wartawan “Off The Record”, artinya si politikus tidak mau pembicaraan ini diberitakan. Kebanyakan hal ini dikarenakan politikus melakukan sesuatu hal yang dirahasiaoan dan tidak ingin diketahui oleh publik. Hal seperti ini sering sekali terjadi, disaat di mana terjadi sebuah skandal yang melibatkan si politikus.

Spin

Terkadang informasi diberitakan dengan cara tertentu (Spin) dengan tujuan agar public atau masyarakat bereaksi atau menanggapi berita tersebut sesuai dengan maksud dan tujuan dari si penyebar berita. Cara ini disebut Spin. Istilah Spin diambil dari istilah dalam permainan baseball dimana cara melempar Spin yang dilakukan seorang pitcher memanipulasi perputaran bola di udara untuk mengelabuhi atau membuat si pemukul bola tertipu. Cara ini juga dipakai dalam permainan sepak bola (Tendangan Pisang).

Moles (Penyusup)

Istilah penyusup dalam Spy diartikan untuk seorang mata-mata yang menggunakan cara tersendiri untuk menyusup kedalam agent rahasia di Negara lain untuk mencuri rahasia.

Double Agent (Agen Ganda)

Double Agent atau agen ganda adalah istilah dimana seorang spy yang bekerja sebagai agen rahasia di suatu Negara namun pada kenyataanya adalah agen rahasia musuh.

Sleepers

Istilah Sleepers lebih kepada keadaan dimana seorang agen rahasia masuk ke suatu Negara dan tinggal disana serta berbaur layaknya warga biasa. Pada mulanya mereka tidak akan melakukan hal-hal berkaitan dengan agen rahasia, mereka mencari pekerjaan yang nantinya berkaitan dan berguna untuk tujuannya. Saat waktunya tepat (biasanya beberapa tahun kemudian) mereka baru mulai melakukan agresi-agresi sebagai agen rahasia.

Undercover

Seorang undercover (biasanya Polisi atau Agen Intelijen) melakukan aksinya dengan bergabung dengan komplotan gangster kriminal atau komunitas tertentu yang hendak dimata-matai. Mereka biasa mendapat identitas baru, lengkap dengan KTP dan dokumen-dokumen palsu serta latar belakang hidup yang palsu pula. Untuk melancarkan aksinya, terkadang seorang undercover harus ikut serta dalam aksi criminal (untuk meyakinkan Boss Gangster).
