What people respect is knowledge and ability, not just old age. What's the point of respecting the old just because of age but not knowing the etiquette with the young. The young will respect when appreciated. The science of balance is not a show of experience without a sufficient knowledge of manners.
Yang disegani orang adalah ilmu dan kemampuannya, bukan sekedar usia yang tua. Apa gunanya hormat dengan tua hanya karena umur tapi tidak tahu etika dengan yang muda. Yang muda akan mengehormati bila dihargai. Ilmu keseimbangan bukan pamer pengalaman tanpa dasar ilmu tata krama yang cukup.
