Consensus is a phrase to produce or make an agreement that is mutually agreed upon between groups or individuals after debate and research carried out within the intelligence collective to obtain consensus for decision making.
The aim of consensus in society is to maintain the social order in an integrative atmosphere so that social life is always peaceful and harmonious. Therefore, there is a need for agreement on values and interests to bind all partisan consensus.
Consensus is agreed upon jointly between groups or individuals after discussion or debate following collective research.
The first step in building a consensus is to understand the audience, by understanding the beliefs and ideology, religion, traditions as well as the knowledge and ability of the audience in accessing political messages by communicants.
Konsensus adalah sebuah frasa untuk menghasilkan atau menjadikan sebuah kesepakatan yang disetujui secara bersama-sama antar kelompok atau individu setelah adanya perdebatan dan penelitian yang dilakukan dalam kolektif intelijen untuk mendapatkan konsensus pengambilan keputusan.
Tujuan dari konsensus yang ada dalam masyarakat yaitu untuk menjaga tatanan sosial tetap dalam suasana integratif sehingga kehidupan sosial selalu damai dan rukun (harmonis). Karena itu, dibutuhkan adanya kesepakatan atas nilai-nilai (values) dan kepentingan (interest) untuk mengikat semua partisan konsensus.
Konsensus disetujui secara bersama-sama antar kelompok atau individu setelah adanya diskusi atau perdebatan setelah dilakukannya penelitian secara kolektif.
Langkah awal dari membangu konsesnsus adalah memahami khalayak, dengan cara memahami keyakinan dan ideologi, agama, tradisi serta pengetahuan dan kemampuan khalayak dalam mengakses pesan-pesan politik oleh komunikan.
