Politik Bisnis secara positif bisa berarti dalam lingkup strategi, program bahkan trik dan trip untuk mendapatkan profit. pada hakekatnya politik itu bertujuan mulia, yaitu 'untuk kepentingan masyarakat seluas-luasnya. Contoh ekonomi politik adalah penetapan harga maksimum. Dalam menetapkan harga maksimum bisa dilakukan di berbagai sektor baik perdagangan, kesehatan, maupun transportasi. Sebagai contoh seperti penetapan harga obat-obatan di apotek, harga BBM, harga tiket bus, kereta api, dan sebagainya.
Hubungan antara ekonomi dan politik adalah, ekonomi berkaitan dengan pengalokasian sumber daya di suatu wilayah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup manusia. Sedangkan politik berkaitan dengan kekuasaan penyelenggaraan pemerintahan dlam suatu negara.
